LiFE 1-8-3

Tell the Lord about your day

Speak to Him and listen for His Word

Thank Him for the opportunities He provides

Praise Him for the work He has given you to do

Ask Him for a touch of His grace on your life

and expect it.  He will not disappoint.

Speak to God about your hopes for the future.

Share with Him all that you are working for

Set out before the Lord your plans and feelings

offer to Him your thoughts and inclinations

And as you do this listen.  

He who has the last word will speak.  So hear.

Dear God, open our eyes and our hearts to the people around us who are victims of the society in which we live.  While we protect ourselves in our homes, those who have been burgled, raped, abused even in their own homes, or bullied, suffer sometimes in silence.  make us a friend to the hopeless and a comfort to those in need, we pray, and open our eyes to what is happening around us we pray.  AMEN
